The Knox County Democratic Party is honored to announce former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear as the keynote speaker for our annual Truman Day Fundraiser.

The Truman Day dinner is the Knox Dems' largest fundraiser of the year. Your sponsorships and reservations directly fund our efforts to knock doors, make phone calls and send texts to flip seats in 2026. We have some big opportunities across Knox County during the 2026 midterms, but we need your support to continue the important work of flipping Knox County blue.

Beshear, who is the father of Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, transformed public education, expanded healthcare access and beat back a recession in our neighboring state by creating jobs and opportunity for his people. Steve Beshear is a Harvard fellow and author of "People over Politics." We welcome his insight on making government work for the people.
